Personality: Halfgaze is a narcissistic cat by all definitions. She does not only think that she can do things better than others, she knows that she is better. And she has absolutely no issues letting others know his superiority. She is rather chatty, especially if it is about his successes. She is a perfectionist and will not finish a task until it is absolutely perfect. She will even go to the lengths of taking chores away from others if they are not ‘doing it as good as Halfgaze could.’ Because of this, Halfgaze can be very easy to take advantage of. If someone else purposely messed up their task, Halfgaze would whisk it away without a second thought.
Unfortunately for the she-cat, she is unremarkable average. Even if she ‘knows’ she is better than everyone else, in actuality, she is not. His fighting skills are not above par, nor are his hunting skills. She has no unusual physical abilities. She is not even overly intelligent, no matter how smart she thinks she is. She is very clear-headed though, and is a good problem solver. His level of actual knowledge retaining abilities, though lack. She tends to solve problems using rational methods, instead of doing what would be more sympathetic. This can sometimes cause her to make choices that, technically, are not bad, but still get her into trouble.
This ginger is very sensitive, but does not deal with it like shyer cat with lower self-esteems do. If any cat dares criticize her, or made fun of his loner heritage, they will be hated and argued with until either Halfgaze, or his enemy dies or leaves CreekClan. She becomes defensive easily, and is not afraid to snap at anyone who she thinks deserves it. Whether this is another kit, a warrior, or even the leader, it does not matter to Halfgaze. She will make sure that everyone knows that she is not a punching bag to be pushed around.
Halfgaze believes that each cat has something good hidden inside them, and does his best to pull it out. She knows that the world is a beautiful place, and firmly believes that, if everyone works together, they can make it even more perfect. His optimism sometimes puts others away from being with her, as she tends to be very loud about his opinions and others cannot always relate to his insane believe in the good side. She talks to most cat’s casually, even those in higher places than herself. She can also be very emotional, though she prefers to hide all of his feelings in a ball inside his belly. She hates how expressive she can be, and wishes that she could be more stoic.
Halfgaze is very protective of everything she can call his own, whether it be other cats, his believes, his possessions, or his ideas. She will fight to the death for any of these things, though she is not particularly loyal to anything but his own beliefs. She will be absent and uncaring until she thinks that something that is his is in danger.

Skills: Because of her eye, Halfgaze is a poor hunter. Her eye causes her to completely miss signs of prey in her right side, and she simply does not have the patience to be a good hunter. She is a good fighter, though, and what she lacks for in good vision she makes up for in amazing speed. Her disability becomes irreverent because of her clear-headed method of battle. She is a poor climber, but is a talented swimmer.
Appearance: Halfgaze is relatively pretty if a cat avoids looking into her eyes. She got her name from her right eye, which is dark blue and cloudy. She is blind out of her right eye. Her other eye is light green in color.
Halfgaze is a light grey and cream colored tortoiseshell. Her pelt is short but soft. Her chest is white, as is her neck, her muzzle, and her toes on her front paws. She has a pink nose, and a childish look to her face that makes her seem as though she is younger than she actually is.
Halfgaze is small and short in size and stature, but she is by no means skinny. This she-cat is broad-shouldered and muscular, with large, stable paws and sharp claws.
History: Rika was born to two carefully raised breeding cats. She was the sixth in the litter, and was easily forgotten compared to her beautiful and highly valued sisters and brothers. But as soon as she opened her eyes, both her twolegs and her parents were disgusted by her. How dare one of their children by half blind?! The twolegs were even more furious, as they had been planning to make a ton of cash for selling the kits when they were older. The beat Rika and her mother, screaming of how it was Rika's mom's fault for having a mutated, ugly kit. Neither of the cats knew what the twolegs were saying, though, and suffered silently.
Her siblings often showed their hatred. They called her Halfgaze and Oddeye mockingly, and bullied her verbally and physically. Once, her sister took it too far and caught her in the mouth with her claw ripping into the soft portion of her jaw among other injuries. The twolegs did nothing. That was when Rika decided that she needed to get away from this life.
When Rika was old enough, at about 8 moons, she ran from her parents and twolegs. She escaped to the woods, and lived there alone for many moons. She struggled by, and eventually learned how to live without using her eye. Other than this, her life was rather uneventful. Recently, she heard of the clans, and decided that she wanted to become a part of one. She changed her name to Halfgaze, remembering how her siblings had called her it mockingly. She decided to use it as her name as proof of her past, and as proof of how she overcame it.
