Name:
Age: In reality, she does not know how old she ia. Very old. However, she perpetually seems to be 39 moons old, which was when she died.
Gender: She-cat
Personality: Smoke Strike is cunning, and formidable in battle. She is not one to take lightly if you want to live another day. However, she is arrogant and overeager to fight and it was ultimately the cause of her death. The dark grey cat is very observant, noticing every small detail, as she does even after death when she watches the Clans. She is honorable, surprisingly. She may have a black heart but she won't lie about it.
Positive Traits: Cunning, Strong fighter, honorable.
Neutral Traits: Observant, Helpful (But only whewhen she wants to be), Stubborn.
Negative Traits: Arrogant, Overeager to fight, Hot temper.
Skills: As a living cat, Smoke Strike was primarily a good hunter. However, in the endless days of the Dark Forest she has taught herself to be a dangerous, battle ready fighter. Her hunting skills have grown rusty, as she never exactly grows hungry and so never needs to hunt.
Appearance: Smoke Strike is a dark, smoky gray she-cat. She has medium length fur that she hated because it neither kept her warm in Leafbare or kept her cool in Greenleaf. Her eyes are a haunting orange, the most unusual thing about Smoke Strike.
History:
0-6 moons: Smoke was never part of the Clans. She was born to a group with known simply as the Sept. The Sept's ways were much different than the Clan's ways but enough the same that if they had existed at the same time the Sept might have become a Clan. The Sept named their kits one word, a word that would define them for the rest of their life. This word usually pertained to appearance, hence Smoke's gray fur giving her he name. She grew up, matured, and developed into a hardworking young cat. At that youthful stage, no one could see the darkness that lay dormant in her.
6-12 moons: The Sept gave their young learners the second title Eye. This implied they were learning and should watch the world around them. Smoke became Smoke Eye, and her father began teaching her the ways of the world as fathers did in the Sept. She did not get his undivided attention, however. In fact she had four siblings to share the spotlight with. Orange Eye, Gray Eye, Golden Eye, and Dark Eye. Her three brothers and Gray Eye disdained her and she fell oit of favor with her family. Alone, she turned to other sources.
12-39 moons: Every kit in the Sept heard chilling legends of terrors long dead. As the stories went, those horrors still lived on in a dark and twisted place. These stories gave them names, fals ones, but name nonetheless. And so, the two most evil cats known to the Sept becane known as Bear Bone and Carrion. Carrion was a small white she-cat with fur stained pink to mark her as wicked. Bear Bone was a large tuxedo who acted as Carrion's bodyguard. These two ran rampant through horror stories told in the dead of night. Few knew they could still affect living cats from beyond their graves.
Alone in the woods one day, the newly named Smoke Strike made two new friends. She hardly recognized their names, as she had no one to tell her tales very often as a young cat. To her, these were just friendly cats who were misunderstood. They had been just kits really when they had been exiled from their society cruelly. They had fought and killed ttheir way through life, struggling to survive. They regretted everything but had been given no chance to repent before they were rediscovered and killed. Now they lived on in memories, remembered only for their mistakes. They wove a masterful tapestry for gullible Smoke Strike and she believed it all without question.
Bear Bone and Carrion trained her to hunt, fight, and survive. She distanced herself from her family and from StarClan, who the Sept believed in. In just moons, the day came when she abandoned both forever as she fled into the night. As she grew under ghostly guidance, the seed of darkness grew. One day she finally recalled all of the sickening stories about the two cats but she said nothing, relishing their attention too much. As she progressed, her training got darker, more violent, more serious until one day she killed Bear Bone. Yes, he was already dead but in appearing to her he had made himself vulnerable to a second death. Despite that, Carrion congratulated her and the poison grew it's roots in her.
She had been given many chances at redemption but Carrion had done her job too well. She had made Smoke Strike like her, until the gray cat truly wanted to become a monster. The potential for villainy that had always existed had been brought to light. As the final step in her training, Smoke Strike made a vow any moral cat would regret forever. She vowed to be Carrion's living body. Though Carrion ccould not be seen by all, she could now almost live again. Smoke Strike did exactly what Carrion instructed her, said exactly what sshshe was told, even began to feel as Carrion felt. It was as close to possession as could be possible.
The Sept, disgusted and horrified by her, attacked violently. Under Carrion's direction, she slayed nearly half of the group, including almost her entire family, before Golden Blaze ended her life.
From her new dark home, Smoke Strike watched the Sept crumble from the sudden loss of life. She watched the days go by and the nights creeo along, she watched four cats fan the spark that was the Clans. She watches now, and will until she chooses to reveal herself.
How you found us:
Other: Wow. This was entirely darker than I planned. Just to be clear, no possession happened in this bio. Carrion just stayed by her side and Smoke Strike followed every order.
