Long, long ago, a cat fell victim to treason. A somewhat sooner time, another fell victim to the lies of an inhabitant. Now, cats in the Dark Forest usually avoid each other. But sometimes, they meet together...

There was someone nearby. Xeno was not pleased.

Xeno never really relished her name; stranger. But it was true, and she was no longer the medicine cat of her previous clan. She was now in the captivity of the Dark Forest in the Sky-- or rather, the Dark Forest.

She never really needed to eat, no, but sometimes she did, and even so someone got to do it for her. Some cats here were brawn rather than brains; such suckers indeed. But right now, she was pretty hungry. And she could sense that another cat was nearby. But she had memorized the musk and the mannerisms of many Dark Forest inhabitants, until they vanished. And the one nearby was somewhat of a sucker, but completely? Not really.

Why hadn't she vanished and was left to the others? Was she passed down in spiteful tales of misunderstanding? Had her clan not learned anything? Did Starclan give up on her? She believed the latter, but not the former. Xeno knew that her clan was gone; they couldn't learn anything.

Back to the semi-sucker. She wasn't too certain, but Xeno knew she was near. And she was also hungry (unsure about the semi-sucker, though.) Truth be told, she didn't know much of the cat, or her name; only gender, mannerisms, certain preferences, and the like. But she knew that she succumbed to the earlier Dark Forester Carrion (who had come after Xeno with some other cat, but only met a few times). Therefore she must of been a complete sucker.

Though, would she take her bait and do the hard work?
