Name: Icefang
Age: 68 moons
Gender: Male
Personality:
Icefang's personality mirrors itself. On one side he is like a grandpa sharing his wisdom and knowledge with other, holding light-hearted conversations and just having a comfortably aura in general. Of course undying loyalty come with the life, but he holds it to a whole other level with a self-strictness in doing whatever the clan asks of him no matter how unsavory that order or request may be. He takes the laws of all four clans and the specific rules of his own very seriously. So seriously that he'll give someone who takes light of them a good whack on the head. He is capable of rational thought and keeping his calm under any circumstance though.
That's his more light side though. His darker streaks are from his past experiences and lessons he's learned through life. Although he doesn't judge a cat on their upbringing or their current states, he does not show mercy to them. He will always choose the safety of himself and his clan over the life of some outsider, even if he has to end that outsider's life himself. He does not question any order given to him no matter how ridiculous or suicidal it might be and better yet makes sure its done complete. If its not done, he won't return until it is (unless he has a clanmate with him to convince him to go back). Its not stubbornness but his own for of duty. The most important thing to note though is that he will always choose his clan over friends or family (if they are outside the clan).
Positive Traits: Calm, Knowledgeable, Wise
Neutral Traits: Daring, Stern, Non-judgmental
Negative Traits: Brute, Merciless, unfathomably loyal
Skills: Icefang is especially good at fighting and digging but he can't swim and he's not very fast at all.
Appearance:
Icefang is a monster of a cat. He's extraordinarily large with a thick mass of muscle and bone. He is a gray tabby with a white muzzle underlying all the way to his belly with amber-green eyes and short fur. He had numerous scars riddling his pelt and one ear it split half-way down.
History:
0-6 moons:
When Icefang was born he was just a nameless kitten abandoned in a bush where he was soon found by a two-leg. He was taken to the two-leg's nest, given food and warmth for the most of his younger days. At about three months old he was given to another two-leg who kept him as an outside cat.
6-12 moons:
For the later of his first yearly moons, Icefang had been known as Rumples and lived with wide variety of horses in their horsehome. There were two other felines other than himself there, a wilder (loner) named Fang and a female neighbor named Rosy. They were the only two who ever kept him company outside the giant herbivores and the occasional two-leg that wasn't his person. Still he found himself doted on by the older Rosy and made a rival by the similar aged Fang.
12-30 moons:
It was around twenty moons when Icefang, who was still known as Rumples; lost his two-leg a bad fall off one of her horses. It was then that he was taken in by Fang who had convinced him to go with him rather than let the two-legs get ahold of him for their ridiculous means of cutting off his kitten-maker. They nearly got him too if it weren't for Rosy who distracted them long enough for the duo to get away. From there Icefang and Fang lived as rogues and oddly enough, like brothers. Over time they seemed to gather more and more cats as friends rather than enemies or rivals for food.
30-50 moons:
By the time Icefang had hit thirty moons he had changed his name to 'Crunch' for his fierce nature and imposing form. Out of their entire band, he was the largest tom and on many occasions he was the one who led them against rival parties for territory and food while Fang took care of the escape routes. There were five cats in their group beside him and Fang, three of which were toms while the remaining two were females. Sisters in fact. Oddly enough Icefang did not find a mate in either, one sister went with Fang while the other chose another tom of their group. Still he was happy even considering their poor circumstances. It lasted for a long time until a new 'gang' (that's what they called other groups of cats) decided to go ahead and bustle in on their territory.
50+ moons:
For the longest time the two 'gangs' were on a stand off. That was, until Viper suddenly announced he was going to leave. Only Icefang knew of his friend's desire to leave and, of course; asked him why. He gave a normal response of 'I don't like this much fighting' and 'I don't want my kits growing up in a place like this'. Normally, Icefang would have agreed with his friend and his decision but at that time there was a particularly bad stalemate going on where both sides were ready to leap at each other at any moment's notice. Still, he let his friendship get the better of him and let Fang and his family go despite the position it would leave the rest of them in. As expected the rival cats attacked them the moment one disappeared but what was seriously wrong with that situation was that... there was only one missing. Fang.
The battle was harsh and Fang's kittens were slaughtered along with one of the toms who fought beside Fang's mate. Devastated, Icefang searched desperately for his friend to find out why he hadn't taken his family along only to find that the feline he had once called a friend, a brother; was sharing tongues on the rival side. Alas he was not the only one to find him for Fang's mate was there along with one of the two lasting toms. They would not go empty handed and of course they made a surprise attack on the enemy hideout the moment the first patrol was sent out. They battled, Icefang against his the enemy's leader with Fang going up his mate and the final tom taking on two youngsters. When Icefang had taken down the enemy leader, Fang had taken down his mate but he was outnumbered as the two youngsters were no match for the veteran tom who had accompanied them. Icefang killed his friend that day after earning a torn ear-badge of justice.
Distraught over the loss of the whole family the felines eventually split off one by one from each other. Icefang himself was the last to leave the territory, searching for a new home when he became outnumbered once more by the remnants of the rival gang. Soon he was chased off at fifty-eight moons where he wandered and hunted alone as a feral cat. It was during this solitary time that he met Froststar and joined Frostclan. That was a sixty-moons exactly. Being as old and experienced as he was, Icefang was named a warrior (though he was given a very ironic name) and made to teach the younger less experienced generations. Of course he did this with a re-found purpose, passing on every hint of knowledge that he could. Through his efforts and endless giving to the clan, Froststar named him her deputy.
How you found us: I shook some nerd and this fell out of his pockets.
Other: Somehow that history ended up being very long for some reason.
