Hey guys. So, I know we haven't been allowing cats older than ten moons to be born in-clan. That stops..... Now. You may now have them born in-clan twenty moons or less. Thank you.
Now, onto other matters.
we don't want total emo histories. They're boring, frankly, unless you go into detail like I did with Fallenheart and Berrycloud. Plus, you have to make good things happen to them too. It really does get better. So, Instead of "Blankempty was the only kit in the litter. His mother died while giving birth and his father, overtaken by stress, left." Do something like I did with Berrycloud:
It doesn't even have to be like that. Could be a simple one, but still, no emo stories.
Same thing with happy-happy stories. Their whole life isn't gonna be perfect. Make someone die {Not everyone. We just went through this.}. Make someone that your character is in love with leave them. Make them be deceived, make them be lied to about everything. Make them get hurt externally as well as internally. The possibilities are endless. Here's an example of a story where a cat got deceived and where a cat thought everything would be fine and was hurt beyond repair.
Another thing is you can't have a super happy history and a depressed cat/a super gloomy and emo history and it be all happy. It's just not possible. Personalities reflect off of the past. We wouldn't be the way we are without memories, wouldn't react the same, wouldn't be the same at all.

Berrycloud was born to NPCbrook and NPCberry. She was named after her father's suffix, while her brother's name was from their mother's prefix. Growing up the two were very close, not going anywhere without each other. Both were very bubbly and happy.
Blankkit bounded out of the nursery happily. "Cmon, Berrykit!" He mewed happily. "Let's go play with the other kits!" He would exclaim as he waited for his sister. Berrykit came bounding after him happily, the two racing out of the den.
They became apprentices at six moons, just like the other kits. Her brother never wanted to fight, however Berrykit liked it and told her brother constantly to try it.
"Ugh!" Blankpaw groaned. "I cant do it! I just cant!" He mewed stubbornly. "Oh, C'mon, Blankpaw! Try it." Berrypaw would mew.
At the age of 16 moons, they both became warriors. Berrypaw became Berrycloud and Blankpaw became Blankheart.
About five moons ago there was a battle. Berrycloud told her brother to join in, to come and fight. However, things did not go that well...
As the battle started, Blankheart wanted to impress his sister. He raced forward, taking on one of the cats. Berrycloud took on another, fighting until it ran off. Turning to look at her brother beside her, blood splashed onto her face... As the cat her brother took on killed him. Berrycloud opened her mouth trying to speak for a few moments, but nothing escaped. With one look at the warrior, she retreated like a coward.
Ever since the incident, she has blamed herself for every little thing, even not at her fault.
Now her parents are elders. She shuts everyone out, now, or at least tries to. She tries to avoid getting hurt, or someone else getting hurt.
