Personality: Ravenshadow does not only admit to being different, he flaunts it. He is very comfortable with his weaknesses, and loves to joke about them. These jokes, however, sometimes make other’s feel awkward. So, despite his friendly nature, he still does not have an abnormally large amount of friends.
Another factor in his lack of close friends would be his manipulative tendencies. Truthfully, he is very lazy, but is not afraid to give viable reasons why he should not have to do something. At first, some cats fall for it, but after a couple times, many realize what is really going on. Ravenshadow wants to be a good warrior, he just does not want to do the chores.
He does have a serious side, and when he is not joking around or finding his way out of chores, he is very good at focusing on the task ahead. When he has something he wants to do, very little can deter him. When he is in a serious mood, he is extremely polite, and even when he is joking, he makes sure to still show respect for everyone around him. He does still manipulate them, but he does not think of that as a sign of disrespect.
It is a surprise that Ravenshadow will not be constantly surrounded by friends, with his extroverted personality, his humor, and his respectful ways. He is very eager to make friends, but he does not trust others easily enough. He can't help but to disbelieve what others say, and it is difficult to gain his trust.
Ravenshadow tends to be a little irrational, and firmly believes in StarClan. He is a very hopeful cat, and knows that StarClan has a plan for him. His spirituality, like most things, is thought of instinctively. He does most things off of instinct instead of former knowledge, because he is just not that good at keeping knowledge inside his head. Some would consider him unintelligent, but he refers to himself as simply, ‘not mentally gifted.’

Appearance: Ravenshadow is a near black tom with grey tinted fur. His paws and front legs are white in color, as is the base of his tail. His ears are abnormally large, and are tufted with black fur.
Ravenshadow is about average in size, and is short furred. He is slender for a tom, and is lanky and long-legged. He has dark amber eyes, verging on brown in color.
History: Raven was born to a she-cat who died shortly after his birth, and to a tom who could not have cared less about his kits. He had a sister and a brother, both of whom were larger and stronger than Raven. He learned quickly that if he did not keep at the bottom of food chain, he would be forced to the bottom. He sulked often and played rarely, doing his best to stay out of his bullying siblings ways.
He ran away when he was 8 moons after being beaten by his brother over a scrap of mouse. After a couple moons of struggling through life, he met an older tom. At first, Raven was terrified. But the tom kept coming back, and Raven eventually became attached to this cat. The older tom did his best to teach Raven everything he would need to know, but Raven still struggled with fighting. He thrived with hunting, though, so the older tom tried to bring out Raven's strength.
The two became very close and began to work as a father and a son would. They kept by each other's sides and defended their very small patch of territory from beasts and enemy cats. They were well fed and peaceful, that was until Raven's mentor died of old age. Raven was horrified, but struggled to live alone. he lost his territory shortly after to a fox, and decided that his best means of survival would be to join one of these new clans he had been hearing about.
